Sharing a birthday with Jim Henson must have a hand in one’s destiny! Following studies in Communication and some professional advertising work, Jérôme Brizé followed his passion for television and became a television production assistant on French cult shows Le Bébête Show and Hélène et les Garçons before working as a journalist and project manager for France’s largest production companies (Coyote Conseil, Fremantle Media, TF1 Production, Paf Productions, amongst others).
Role at Moving Puppet
Jérôme Brizé is Executive Producer on Moving Puppet’s programs. He also supervises the company’s Creation and Development department and monitors the artistic, financial, and legal aspects of projects both in development and production.
Originally a technician at French automobile giant Citroën, Jérôme Clauss realized that his perfect mastery of synthetic materials had obvious applications in the audiovisual industry (special effects and sets design). In a very short space of time, he became the must-have trump card for feature film producers (Astérix et Obélix, Iznogood, Deux Frères, Taxi, Les Rivières Pourpres, Arthur et les Minimoys). He supervised the fabrication of characters on Les Grabonautes and brings a level of technical quality to stop motion animation series that is unequaled in France.
Role at Moving Puppet
Jérôme Clauss brings artistic coherence to Moving Puppet’s programs by working closely with our creative (writing, storyboard) and technical teams (preparation, puppet-making, shoots, post-production image/sound). He also supervises the company’s Research and Development department.
Moving Puppet is a French production company specialized in the creation of hybrid animation programs combining puppets, stop motion, live action, and 2D/3D animation.

Moving Puppet, the French specialist for on-screen puppetry
Moving Puppet brings together France’s best puppetry talent. Every single contributor in the studio has specific skills for “filmed puppetry”, starting with scriptwriters and directors.
In this workshop, which is first and foremost a creative and production laboratory, Moving Puppet continues to invest in research and development (puppet making and puppeteering, post-production techniques, etc.) as well as in training future collaborators (puppeteers, specialized “filmed puppet” technicians…).
